China application center of GEIT starts business
GE Inspection Technology(GEIT) declares that China Application Center is established. The new center located in Shanghai will be the 8th global application center of GEIT.
China application center is located in GE-China technology center in Shanghai. It shares the latest NDT technology of the world, covering digital technology, film x-ray, ultrasonic and eddy current technology. Design and manufacturing of ultrasonic probes can also be realized here. In addition, the center includes departments of sales, service and engineering.
China application center provide digital, film x-ray, ultrasonic, eddy current service for components and parts from customers. Chairman of GEIT,Jeff Nagel says,"we can Chinese version of all kinds of comprehensive application documents in the application center." That is to say, application proposals developed in Germany can use local language in China application center.
Over 70 experts home and abroad attended the ceremony of China application center. Ceremony was hosted by general manager of GEIT China, Vincent Trotta, and Chairman of GE Transportation China, Andy Solem made opening speech. Mr Xu Yongchang,Secretary general of Chsndt, Miss Samusch from Gsnt also showed their congratulations to the ceremony.
Application centers of GEIT as learning organizations, can rapidly solve inspection questions from customers. GE provides a large scale of inspection and NDT proposals. Specialists are excellent and comes from all over the world with rich technical experiences in the field of aviation, energy source, automobiles, chemical industry. With a global network database, solving proposals can be reached more rapidly and effectively. Local proposals can also be used by customers outside.
